The Jacaranda Foundation is a fundraising initiative designed by locals, for locals. Our mission is to create new pathways for community-driven, project-based fundraising to strengthen Sutherland Hospital's services, supporting all areas of treatment, and enhancing the quality of life and medical care for patients and staff alike.
Inspired by one man's battle with cancer, the Foundation continues the legacy of compassion and innovation that has defined Sutherland Hospital since 1958. Today, the hospital's patients consist of
